What is Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) ?

RPL is the process of recognising skills and knowledge acquired outside of the formal classroom environment through; daily life, work experience, informal/non accredited and accredited learning, then evaluating those skills gained against a set of standards, competencies and the learning outcomes of a specific qualification. This enables learners to gain access to further education opportunities or academic credits.

RapidRPL (Pty) Ltd is a Level 1 BBBEE woman owned enterprise established as a Management Education and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Service Provider. We provide our services in collaboration with Training Providers, Corporate Companies and Educational Institutions, where we assist with; the development of Learning and Career Pathways that are aligned to organisational strategy, development of RPL Toolkits, policies and procedures, promotion of the awareness of RPL within an organisation, providing support at systems and strategic level to RPL appointed staff by guiding and advising them through the RPL process. Effective and efficient administration and management is key to the running of a successful business. This requires quality managers with the skills and knowledge to steer and grow these businesses so that they become the sustainable organisations that the economy is looking for. As a knowledge service provider, RapidRPL‘s vision is to contribute to the development of competent and skilled employees who will grow our countries workforce at management levels in all sectors and positively transform the working environment of the future. RapidRPL understands the dynamics and challenges that occur in business.
